I would say that I do many eco-friendly things in my life, but I know that I hardly scratch the surface of what is possible. My family has been composting as long as I can remember. It feels strange not to do it in my rented house. Maybe I can get the landlord to let me do it…? Anyway, I recently found a website called Ideal Bite that gives free, bite-size ideas for light-green living. It’s a lot of very practical things you can easily do. One idea I got in my email a few weeks ago was what to do with old towels. Give them to animal shelters! They use them all the time for bedding. Then, they usually have some related factoid.
